Gennady was built for children ages 6 to 11. Explanations adapt to your child’s age, and the language stays simple and friendly. There is no content beyond homework help.
Parental Gate
Sensitive actions such as purchases or account settings sit behind an adult confirmation step. Your child cannot buy, delete or change anything without an adult confirming it.
No Open Chat
The buddy chat is not an open chat window to the internet. Your child only chats with Gennady itself, never with strangers. Conversations revolve around homework and learning.
No Ads. Ever.
There are no ads in Gennady, no ad trackers and no third-party offers. The app is funded by a subscription, not by your child’s attention.
GDPR and Data Minimization
We only store what homework help requires: display name, age, scanned worksheets and learning progress. No location data, no contacts, no device identifiers for advertising.
Delete Data: Anytime
You can completely delete your child’s account in the app at any time. You can also request a copy of all stored data (GDPR export). Both work directly inside the app.
What Actually Happens to the Data
- Scanned worksheets are automatically deleted after 180 days at the latest.
- Spoken answers are only processed briefly and are not stored permanently.
- Chat messages are deleted after 90 days, guest accounts after 30 days without use.
- No data is sold to third parties or shared for advertising.
To Be Honest
